4 Months Old!

Aaron and I recently bought 10 baby bottle goats. I am not sure exactly what we were thinking. Peter gets to hang out with us when we bottle feed them, and as you can tell he is a favorite of the ten kids.

We were very traditional with all of their names, and named them based on markings, color, or characteristics. Some examples are Stripe, Belt, Puppy, Chocolate, Skunk...You get the idea. Well the last one to be named was this little brown guy pictured by himself. Aaron noticed he had a "T" on his forehead, and then inspiration came to me. TIM is his name, but we call him Timmysmile emoticon

(For those who don't know, my brother and dad are both named Tim.) So Tim, I don't know if you should be flattered or offended you have a kid named after you. Love you Bubba!

For Peter's 4 month birthday today we took a nice long walk on the farm and saw all of the animals (44 of them). There was one cat who managed to stay hidden though.

I strapped Peter into the Boba Wrap and off we went!  Peter loves the wrap as long as he is facing outward.

He was calm and happy for the hour or so we were outside, and sometimes he even giggled. I talked to him the whole time about what we were seeing, why it was muddy and why the creek was full (snow melted).  I talked to him all about his aunts, uncles, cousins, and especially his big brother Robert.
We think Peter might be teething. He is constantly chewing on his hands, drooling, and there seems to be two little bumps on his upper gums. According to our scale he weighs 16lbs and is 24 inches tall!

I remember when I was pregnant with Peter and I would look down at my big belly and that's all I would see. Now when I look down, all I see is Peter, but he is on the outside of my belly. Having this boy in our home is a joy and a blessing!

And we can't forget Miss Ginny.
