Here are a few picture updates of Peter for the Grandmas :)
You can see how chubby Peter is getting. You can also see his belly button. It is herniated. The doc said we shouldn't worry at all because it's very common in babies. (I hear I even had one when I was little.) It should fix itself by the time he is 4, if not sooner.
Notice the lovely cloth diaper cover :)
Just this week, Peter started babbling. He found his voice and he just makes lots of noises and ooohs and ahhhs, and gaaa sounds. It is adorable!
He also discovered his hands and loves to chew on his hands if he is hungry and doesnt want to wait. He started sucking his thumb too. We are trying to break that habit before it really develops though. He won't take a pacifier though- it makes him puke.
I made a swaddler for Peter because it doesn't matter how well I swaddle the blanket, he wiggles, and then the blanket ends up covering his mouth and nose. And that is DANGEROUS! So I made this to help him feel all comfy/ cozy without the danger of a blanket. The pattern I found on pinterest was just with an old t-shirt. Genius!
Aaron calls it a strait-jacket, but Peter is happy in it and he has no troubles breathing with it! And that's all that matters.
